This policy explains what personal information xbraidygk.com.au collects, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
What you give us. If you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, any phone number you include and your message. If you sign up for our newsletter, we receive your email address.
What the site collects as you browse. Like most websites, the site uses cookies and similar technologies to record how it is used: the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, your browser and device, an approximate location worked out from your internet address, and the page that brought you here.
Finding a stockist. When you set a place in our stockist finder, it is kept in your browser so the site can show the nearest stores. If you use "Use my location", your position stays on your device and is never sent to us. We record the suburb you search for and the store you look at, to learn where people are looking for our products.
We don't sell products on this site, so we don't collect payment or delivery details.
Why we collect it
- To answer your messages.
- To send you our newsletter, if you asked for it.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To measure and show our ads on other sites, such as Facebook, Instagram and Google.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the site and our business. They handle your information on our behalf:
- Shopify hosts the site and stores your messages and newsletter signup.
- Google provides site analytics (Google Analytics and Tag Manager) and our email.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measures and shows our ads through the Meta Pixel.
- Services that keep the site working, such as error monitoring.
These providers may store and process information outside Australia, including in the United States, Canada and Ireland. We don't sell your personal information.
Your choices
- Newsletter: use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Google Analytics: install Google's opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Ads: change your ad preferences at https://adssettings.google.com and in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a complaint about how we have handled it, by emailing info@xbraidygk.com.au or writing to us at the address below. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au.
